Hike #38 - Saint George's

Important Stats

Drive: 4 and 1/2 hours from Seattle 30 minutes from Elizabeth's house

Water: one bottle on the drive home

Would I do it again?: I certainly hope so!

My oldest friends in the world, Elizabeth and Chrissy were nice enough to get up early and take another trip down memory lane with me. We drove out to our old school and hiked around. We went to a school on a state park so there are some great trails. Chrissy ran cross-country with me, so we put JJ, her 2 year-old, in the stroller and set off on our old running trails (this time at a much slower pace). It was great to be back at the place that had so much influence over who we became (we all work in schools!). We took JJ out of the stroller for a fun run down the sand hill. We then walked all over campus and showed Elizabeth the new buildings and snooped around. It was a great way to get to see Chrissy and JJ who I don't get to see enough of. It was also great to be back at St. George's, if only for a few hours.
