Hike #26 - Madison Park

Important Stats:

Drive: 10 minutes

Water: 1 bottle - I am embracing hydration :)

Would I do it again?: Probably not, but it was a good one

After a good run of wilderness hikes, it was time to reduce my carbon footprint by staying in town. Today I went on a 6.5 mile walk from capital hill down to to Madison Park and back. The highlights for me were the residential parts. The houses were beautiful and awfully interesting. I stopped by a Starbucks for some water (hydration is good!) and ran into a former student who was hard at work - which was nice. I really like the Madison Park neighborhood there are a lot of fun shops and restaurants. I caught the view from the park (see picture).
